- The original opening and closing sequences from the first two seasons have been totally replaced. The new sequences contain clips from the first five episodes of season 4 and one clip from "A Boy and his Dogs", which was included in Season 3 sequences.
- Three new main characters are introduced. In the two previous seasons - only one per season.
- In every episode, at least one of the Berry girls is either absent or has no lines. Only Strawberry and Lemon appear in all the episodes, and only Strawberry has speaking lines in each episode.
- Every two or three episodes form one story arc, except "A Berry Merry Birthday" and "Hot Sauce Cook Off" which stand alone.
- Several minor characters from the previous seasons (Berrykin Ed and Berrykin Earl, Berrykin Bill, Jadeybug, and Postmaster Bumblebee) make brief appearances without speaking lines.
- Unlike the first two seasons, none of the episodes take place at winter.
- It is the final season of the show.
