"The Berry Best You Can Bee" is an episode of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry Bitty Adventures.
Synopsis[]
Strawberry learns a lesson when she offers to fill in for a sick worker at the Bumblebee Post Office.
Summary[]
Strawberry is finishing a letter addressed to a friend. Orange takes it to the mail slot when someone sneezes, sending the mail all over the place. Postmaster Bumblebee frantically gathers them and they notice how ill the other bee is and suggest that he go home. The bee accepts the decision and sneezes as he leaves, leaving Postmaster Bumblebee to figure out what to do. The other bees are on vacation, so he's the only one on the job today. He has to hurry because Mr. Clem Cricket's birthday is today and he had a special gift for him. He's a little disappointed because it's going to be late now, and Strawberry offers to lend him a hand delivering the mail. She has a scooter, and the Cafe is closed today. While concerned, Postmaster Bumblee agrees and hand over a hat that all mail personnel must wear when on the job.
Jadeybug looks for her stamp to put on the package to discover its missing. After a few minutes she locates it, and Strawberry prepares to take off as Plum shows up. She congratulates her and comments on the hat. Plum and Orange are concerned that this might be too much for their friend. Strawberry assures them that she'll be fine, pointing out that it's still morning so she has plenty of time.
As she is on her way over, she is suddenly interrupted by Lemon, who has a problem at the salon. Strawberry is stunned when she comes inside to see what happened to Blueberry, then she informs Lemon that she can't stay to help. She recalls a cake recipe that kept coming out too hard until she added pudding to the mix. So she suggests that Lemon try adding vanilla pudding to her hair, then some stay-in conditioner with avocado oil. But if worse comes to worse, she's sure that Blueberry will still come around.
Back at Orange Mart, Jadeybug informs Orange that a recent storm has caused the pathway to become blocked. Strawberry won't be able to get through. Orange worriedly rushes outside to let Strawberry know, but its too late.

Strawberry reaches the path in question to find logs blocking her way. She refuses to stop now, deciding to ditch her scooter since she can't get around with it. She climbs over the logs and twigs as Pupcake follows, and once on the other side, she wonders how much further she has to go. She sees a sign with a few different paths and suddenly, a burst of wind causes the sign pointing towards Acorn Acres to fall off. Strawberry is unsure of which way to go when she hears two ladybugs arguing. They don't appear to notice her until they ask her for help deciding which one of them is right; they lost their picnic basket, the blanket, and argued over who is the hungriest between them.
Strawberry quickly deduces what happened after they mention the basket "grew away" and point out that they were in the nearby flower. She offers to help them and climbs up the tall flower, retrieving the basket and returning their items to them. The girls are delighted, allowing Strawberry and Pupcake to keep going. They invite her to join their picnic but she mentions that she's delivering a package and they recognize who its intended for- but neither of them agree over the directions to reach his place.
Strawberry thanks them anyway and continues on, reaching a river they mentioned. She falls through a hole in the path and with some help, manages to get to safety. But as she tries to figure out what to do now, the bridge collapses. Feeling defeated, Strawberry returns to her scooter and heads back home. She stops to see Blueberry watering some flowers and explains her journey, then compliments her friend's hair. Blueberry is happy that her idea worked, and she compliments the use of avocado oil. It added a nice shine to her hair. Strawberry is happy for her, but she feels sad over her failure, and continues on her way back to Orange Mart to let the postmaster know what happened.
Postmaster Bumblebee doesn't seem too disappointed, and he admits to being impressed that she got so far. He comforts her realizing how badly she is feeling, and explains that sometimes there are circumstances beyond ones control. The only thing one can do is try their berry best. He offers to call the post office in Big Bitty City for help. They can reach Acorn Acres using a back road through Oak-Tree Meadows. Suddenly, Blueberry gets an idea.

Delivery is made
After gathering everyone in town, they work together and reveal to Strawberry that they modified her scooter, with a bunch of butterflies. That way she can float over every distraction and make her way straight to Mr. Cricket's house.
Strawberry is very happy and thankful for their encouragement and help. She quickly heads over and arrives to her destination with the package, then she steps up to the door to deliver it. The episode ends as she hands it over and he thanks Strawberry.

Lessons[]
Strawberry learns a few lessons throughout this episode, the main one being that she learns the importance of being persistent. She had a long-term goal, and while others were unhelpful or worried it was too much for her to handle, she knew it was important to keep pushing forward.
She also learned that some goals are harder to complete based on ones capabilities and it's important to accept that at the end of the day, she did her best.
She also learns that brainstorming with others may lead to solutions she was incapable of figuring out on her own.
